A former biocongress that took place during the 90s decade in different countries. With the influence of this event and many similar congresses, we hope to share their spirit with you into this new adventure. How was this biocongress (YOUNG BM) created?

It all started during the 2017 spring, where Maltese students together with ex-participants from the former Biovolutionary Congress decided to relaunch it under a different name and image, adapted to biosciences students of a XXI century Europe.
BIOVOLUTIONARY-The base and origin of YOUNG BM Biocongress
Malta 2017 was the first edition of Young BM, it was decided to be held there due to an idea of 10Â young bachelor students.
It took place in July,during 9 days, in Malta residence, with 52 participants from 18 countries, many biological topics were presented and they had a lot of fun enjoying the island beaches, seas and facilities

After deciding that the congress should be repeated annually, Icelandic crew proposed to host the event in 2018. So, in July 2018, the organizing team, formed by students from Iceland, Sweden and Norway, did a great job, uniting 62Â participants from 21 countries wth the same friendly atmosphere during 8Â days.
